Karanovic & Nikolic is organising a business briefing on “Tax in 2011- recent legislative changes and what we can expect when running a business.”
As the end of 2011 approaches, it is time that we, together with our business partners and clients revisit and recapitulate on the most important changes in both tax regulations and the practice of the Serbian tax authorities. The goal is to identify the main tendencies and problems which should be taken into account by Serbian companies in managing their tax liabilities in 2012.
At the briefing we will outline the main developments and changes in the area of corporate income tax, VAT as well as in the regulatory framework governing the taxation of salaries and other types of personal income. We will use this opportunity to take a look at the jurisprudence of the Administrative Court regarding tax matters in order to establish whether and to what extent the establishment of the new specialized court for administrative disputes has contributed to the development of tax practice and the protection of taxpayers.
