- Providing guidelines at the earliest planning stages of the project on regulatory, structural, tax, exit, foreign exchange, contractual, licensing, insurance and dispute resolution matters that can impact project, as well as financing mechanics that can help make the project a reality.
- Represent and understand the needs of developers, financial institutions, governmental entities, construction companies and other service and equipment providers who are active in the infrastructu re area;
- Develop and implement unique structures that address the varying needs of financiers, developers and other project participants in international transactions across the region;
- Assist Governments in structuring tenders, including advice on the bidding process and the prequalification of potential bidders;
- Provide integrated legal solutions covering all issues from the inception of a project to financial close continuing through operation and any refinancing;
- Experience of reviewing and analyzing concession, construction and maintenance arrangements as well as drafting and negotiating complex financing and security packages.
- Advise on Employment law matters as it affects the project;
- Ensure any Environmental Law matters are fully understood and provided for;
- Provide a full review of any dispute scenarios with construction companies and other active stakeholders and take any necessary court action if necessary.
