Employment Law Experts

Our employment law experts advise on all aspects of the employment relationship, from recruitment to retirement, and including cross-border human resources and immigration issues. We offer proactive, pragmatic and commercial advice to meet our client's specific needs, in line with the rigorous legal environments in which our clients operate.  We are always aware of the sensitive nature of employer-employee relationships.

Securing Relationships

We regularly provide assistance in drafting and negotiating employment agreements, developing internal HR practices and procedures and assessing guaranteed entitlements under the law. Our lawyers are experienced in addressing the day to day requirements of commercial entities, including immigration requirements, entitlements due to employees, tax efficient salary and benefit structures, leaves, disciplinary measures and individual and group terminations.

We take a client-centric approach to relationships which is why we provide our clients with a range of services outside of the general scope of standard legal advisory. We offer our clients regular trainings and keep them informed of the latest legal developments. We are also dedicated to training our lawyers on the latest developments to ensure that clients receive the latest best practice service from our team.

It is our mission to be a reliable and committed business partner, rather than just a provider of employment law legal services. This is achieved best through mutual trust and understanding, which is the essence of a quality relationship. We learn as much about our clients as possible so we are best able to efficiently protect their interests.

Regulatory Compliance

The employment team regularly advises clients on compliance with legal obligations and assists clients in taking preventative steps to reduce the likelihood of employee grievances, government enforcement actions and litigation. We are experienced in handling collective bargaining procedures and effectively advancing our client's interests in all dealings and negotiations with labour unions.

With employment advisors in each country where we have cooperating law offices, we have the capacity to offer clients cross-border advice with a local dimension. We work with in-house legal and human resource teams to adapt existing contracts to local regulations and to draft new ones when necessary. We offer advice on employment relations, HR policies, risk prevention, restructuring and labour disputes.
